Work experience
- 2001-2008: owner of PROSA, an italian consulting company on free software (GNU/Linux).
- 2004-2005: executive forwarder for PAGNAN, an italian company operating in the food market
(PAGNAN partially own PROSA).
- 2001: products and services manager for Ascensit, a Linux/Unix start-up
- 2000: general manager Linuxcare Italia, italian subsidiary of Linuxcare Inc. a Linux service company
- 1996-2000: IT manager for Windnet, Internet Service Provider
- 1995-1996: software developer/web developer on UNIX systems for PROFUSO
Personal skills and competences
- good knowledge of a wide range of programming and scripting languages, such as C/C++, python, PHP, Ruby, BASH scripting, etc.
- good knowledge of TCP/IP and networking in general; I administer several web servers (Apache, Zope), SMTP & POP/IMAP (sendmail, postfix, qpopper, cyrus, etc.), FTP, NNTP, NFS, RMDBS (Postgresql, mysql), mailing-list (mailman), DNS (bind), routers.
- knowledge of SGML, DocBoox, XML, DSSSL.
- knowledge of embedded systems (PC/104, CompactPCI)
- good english, both written and spoken, thanks to several

Work experiences
- I have worked as analyst and software developer for 3 years.
- I have managed an IT network for an Internet Service Provider, after building it, for 2 years.
- I did project management for IT solutions for 2 years.
- I managed a professional services team for 1 year.
- I held an executive position for 1 year; in the mean time the company attempt an IPO.
Other non-work related experiences
- 1995/97: managed Linux network of University of Padua as a volunteer.
- I cooperated with several Linux magazines.
- In 1996 I became a Debian GNU/Linux developer, working especially to port Debian on Sparc architecture.
- From 1995 to 1997 I was the national coordinator for the PLUTO Linux User Group, the biggest italian LUG.
- 2001: founder of Associazione Software Libero, an italian association created to promote free software.
I'm willing to work remote, part-time and in-world.
I have experience on free software, both as a software developer and
as a comunity leader, which I can use to support Linden on this front.
